Offering Hope for Children Living in Poverty
Georgia is facing an economic crisis; poverty, homelessness, and hunger rates in multiple communities have skyrocketed over the last few years. In Atlanta and the Fulton County area, as many as one in four children are living in poverty, and their families are facing difficulties putting food on the table.
The Herron Agency is taking a stand against poverty, hunger, and homelessness, especially when children are the ones suffering. We are launching a long term campaign to help make sure children in our area are provided both hope and relief from these troubling trends.
Reversing the Growing Trends of Poverty in our Area
The Herron Agency is a proud Regional Ambassador of the #AgentsofChange movement, and this campaign reflects our commitment to improving outcomes for children facing economic hardship in and around the Atlanta area. We will be working with food banks, emergency shelters, and a series of relief agencies, as well as supporting initiatives that will help reverse the trends of poverty that are causing so many children in our community to go hungry.
Thousands of children need our help, and we can’t reach them all without your help.
How You Can Help
Instead of asking you for a donation, we’d like to ask you to send your friends and family in to the Herron Agency offices so we can discuss this important issue with them. We will also provide them with an insurance consultation free of charge, and then we will provide a donation IN YOUR NAME to a local program or initiative that is working to provide for children in our community struggling with poverty, hunger, and homelessness.

For children with behavioral issues who are non-communicative, therapists often find traditional therapies and treatments alone are not enough to provide breakthroughs. At-risk children may be reluctant to work on relationships with humans because of their past experiences. Hillside, an […]
